My name is Mirella Valentin. I am a 10th grader. I was born in Puerto Rico. When you first get to meet me I am shy and get nervous, but after we talk and get to know each other I stop being shy. My favorite subject in school is science since I like carrying out experiments. The experiments that have to do with dissecting animals like pigs, frogs, etc are the ones I like to carry out. My passion in life is to play volleyball. I love volleyball-- I couldn't live without it. I also like listening to music. My favorite food is churrasco with pasta. When I grow up I want to become a dermatologist. In the picture next to me you can see a professional volleyball player called Karina Ocasio. She plays every year for Puerto Rico and every season for “Liga Superior Femanina” with Las Criollas de Caguas.
