She.

She.

There she stood, a mile or so away

Staring at me vigorously with a slight grin that furnished her face

I could not bear but wonder and stay.

How had I even arrived at this unutterable place?

She was everything I had desired to be.

She had found her vocation

She was as content as one could be.

She was me and I was her, without a question.

I looked at myself in the mirror

The deafening silence of my active mind

Made no error

For silence is key in situations of this kind.

As I recite these last few verses, I recall a question

I did not get to ask my future self,

Who I am sure would have had an answer fond of inspiration.

All I want to know is how does one make sure to not lose themself.
