On February 21st, 2026, Baldwin’s Athletic Department stunned us all. The Youth Girls Basketball team emerged as the victors of Baldwin’s invitational tournament.
Other notable achievements included wins from the Boys Mini Soccer, Boys Youth Basketball, Girls Varsity Basketball, and Boys Varsity Basketball. Despite the tournament having been cancelled earlier due to unforeseen weather conditions, the Bulls’ motivations or spirit did not dwindle; in fact, it may be said that adversity incited Baldwin’s athletes to embrace resilience and represent their schools with even prouder strength than before. This was certainly seen in the outcomes of the tournament.
Baldwin’s invitational tournament truly embraced athleticism across multiple areas, giving all kinds of athletes the space and opportunity to represent their schools proudly while pursuing their interests. The buzzing atmosphere was a joyous one, not just reflecting ambition and drive from our fellow athletes, but also one in which the appreciation for teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship, was overarching. Everybody, from proud teachers and parents, to students, spectators, and coaches, helped make this tournament a special one – one which celebrated effort, and achievement.
The atmosphere throughout the event reflected not only competitive drive but also a shared appreciation for teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship. Students, coaches, and spectators alike contributed to an environment that celebrated both effort and achievement.
Congratulations to all schools, coaches, and students, for their commendable achievements. And special shoutout to our head coach, Coach Pedro Gonzales! #FearTheStampede
